Senate OKs Oil Spill Protections With Coast Guard Bill

Law360, New York (May 7, 2010, 6:12 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Senate on Friday gave unanimous approval to a bill that would give the U.S. Coast Guard more tools and authority to enforce international oil pollution agreements and to reduce the threat of spills from oil being ferried through international waters and shipping channels.
