Frank Bill Seeks To Extend Flood Insurance Program

Law360, New York (May 10, 2010, 4:11 PM EDT) -- Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee Barney Frank, D-Mass., has introduced a bill to extend the National Flood Insurance Program's authority through the end of September while Congress works on a long-term flood insurance bill.

The NFIP is currently set to expire May 31. H.R.5255, introduced Friday, would be the latest of several extension of the program.
