Legal Sector Loses Jobs For 2nd Month In A Row

Law360, New York (May 10, 2010, 2:03 PM EDT) -- Though the U.S. economy appears to be bouncing back somewhat, roughly 1,100 legal services workers lost their jobs in April, marking the second straight month that the industry shrank, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics' monthly jobs report.

The report, released Friday, found that there were 1,103,100 legal services jobs in April, compared to 1,104,200 in March, 1,105,200 in February, 1,105,000 in January and 1,104,500 in December.
