Fair Isaac Loses New Trial Bid In Credit Scoring Suit

Law360, New York (May 11, 2010, 5:34 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has rejected Fair Isaac Corp.'s request for a new trial in the long-running intellectual property and antitrust case it brought against its rival credit-reporting agencies.

Judge Ann Montgomery of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota shot down Fair Isaac's post-trial motions Monday, paving the way for the company behind the widely used FICO credit score rating to follow through on its promise to take the matter to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
