Insurer Needn't Cover Suit Over Cop Death: 3rd Circ.

Law360, New York (May 12, 2010, 12:50 PM EDT) -- Finding that an “employee injury” exclusion relieved Scottsdale Insurance Co. from indemnifying and defending the city of Easton, Pa., in a suit stemming from the accidental death of a police officer, a federal appeals court has reversed a lower court's judgment in favor of the insurer.
