China To Review Duties On Chloroprene Imports

Law360, New York (May 12, 2010, 2:41 PM EDT) -- China has decided to conduct a sunset review of anti-dumping duties imposed on chloroprene rubber imports from Japan, the U.S. and the European Union.

China's Ministry of Commerce opted to launch the review Monday, just as the previous duties from 2005 were set to expire. The move will keep the current anti-dumping duty rates on the imports in effect for the duration of the review.

MOFCOM plans to finish its review of the chloroprene rubber, or neoprene, imports within a year.
