Florida Gas Wins Challenge Of FERC Pipeline Rules

Law360, New York (May 17, 2010, 12:30 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has sided with Florida Gas Transmission Co. LLC in its challenge to the geographical scope of new natural gas pipeline standards set by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to accommodate liquefied natural gas operations.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit on Friday granted Florida Gas's petition on the new standards, though it turned down a similar petition by Florida Power & Light Co.
