ITC To Study Abandonment Of Tariffs On Green Goods

Law360, New York (May 17, 2010, 1:52 PM EDT) -- In response to a request from U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk, the U.S. International Trade Commission has launched an investigation to assess the economic impact of removing tariffs on environmental goods.

The commission announced the two-part study Monday, saying it would also examine U.S. international trade in such environmental goods and the competitive conditions facing domestic producers in those industries.
