Law Firm Demands Unpaid Rape Trial Fees

Law360, New York (January 22, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- An Arizona law firm that defended a bar manager in a rape case has headed back to court to recover trial fees it claims were never paid by the bar's insurance company.

The firm, Snell & Wilmer LLP, is suing the bar’s insurance company, United National Insurance, alleging it deliberately withheld payment after its agent repeatedly assured the check was in the mail.
