France Nixes Teva Unit's Relief Bid In Plavix Case

Law360, New York (May 18, 2010, 5:34 PM EDT) -- France's antitrust watchdog refused a Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. unit's request for emergency relief against Sanofi-Aventis SA on Tuesday, but said it would continue to probe the generic-drug maker's claims that the pharmaceutical giant unfairly suggested that rival generic copies of its blood-thinning drug Plavix were less safe than its own blockbuster version.
