Honda Hit With Airbag Defect Suit Over Accord

Law360, New York (May 19, 2010, 2:00 PM EDT) -- A Kentucky couple has hit American Honda Motor Co. with a putative class action alleging defective airbags in 2004 Honda Accords inflate without impact.

Michael and Melody Dalton filed a complaint Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky estimating they will represent a class of over 100 people.

The Daltons are suing for negligence, fraud, breach of express and implied warranty, strict product liability and violation of the Kentucky Consumer Protection Act.

Honda did not respond to a request for comment....
