Cisco Adds Design Firm Moto In Consumer Product Push

Law360, New York (May 19, 2010, 1:49 PM EDT) -- Cisco Systems Inc. has continued its push into the consumer sector by purchasing design firm Moto Development Group, a private company that helped develop the Cisco-owned Flip Video camera.

Cisco did not reveal any details of the transaction, which was announced Tuesday. But the San Jose, Calif.-based computer networking giant said the addition of Moto would allow Cisco to get consumer products to market faster.
