FDA Releases Transparency Guideline Proposal

Law360, New York (May 19, 2010, 1:26 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration on Wednesday released 21 draft proposals to enhance the agency's public disclosure policies, the culmination of a yearlong initiative by the FDA to keep the regulated community and public up to date on its decision-making and enforcement efforts.

The FDA's draft proposals and accompanying report will be published in Friday's Federal Register, agency officials said, and will be open for public comment for the next 60 days.
