1st Circ. Revives $23M Atlantech Negligence Case

Law360, New York (May 20, 2010, 5:23 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has reopened aircraft display panel exporter Atlantech Inc.'s $23 million contract and negligence case against contractor American Panel Corp., ruling that a final judgment handed down by a lower court was "too ambiguous."

Atlantech "retained at the time of the disputed judgment a damage claim that had not been waived or settled," said Wednesday's ruling in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
