UK Wants New Crime Agency, Banking System

Law360, New York (May 20, 2010, 7:15 PM EDT) -- The new U.K. government aims to form a single agency to combat white collar crime, including insider dealing and fraud-related activities, and overhaul the banking system to promote a more competitive economy.

Conservative Prime Minister David Cameron on Thursday put forth the government’s coalition agreement between Conservative and Liberal Democrat parties that laid out how the governing partnership intends to address a wide range of policy issues.
