Revised Salmon Plan Still Doesn't Cut It, Enviros Say

Law360, New York (May 21, 2010, 6:06 PM EDT) -- The Obama administration has made only modest changes to a plan to protect endangered salmon allegedly threatened by four hydroelectric dams, sparking criticism from environmental groups.

On Thursday the government submitted a formal biological opinion, the work of four different federal agencies, to the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon as part of a long-running court battle over the region's salmon population launched by environmental groups in 2001.
