Orkin Discriminates Based On Age, Religion: EEOC

Law360, New York (May 21, 2010, 4:50 PM EDT) -- Pest control company Orkin LLC used an outside recruiter who discriminated in favor of Mormons and against those over 40, the U.S. Equal Opportunity Employment Commission has alleged in a putative class action.

Brandon McNeil, an outside recruiter who was retroactively hired by Orkin, assembled a team of Orkin summer workers who were mostly Mormons under 30, the EEOC said in a suit filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona.
