ITC To Keep Chinese Barium Chloride Dumping Duties

Law360, New York (May 26, 2010, 3:38 PM EDT) -- The U.S. will continue to collect anti-dumping duties on imports of barium chloride from China after the U.S. International Trade Commission determined that revoking the current anti-dumping duty order would likely injure domestic producers.

The ITC announced the continuation of the duties Wednesday, six months after deciding to launch the full, five-year “sunset” review — the commission's third into Chinese barium chloride.

All six commissioners voted in the affirmative to maintain the current China-wide average percentage margin of 155.50 percent.
