O2, Others Seek Review Of Ruling In LCD Patent Spat

Law360, New York (May 27, 2010, 5:39 PM EDT) -- O2 Micro International Ltd. and three companies it has accused of infringing a patent for backlighting technology for liquid crystal displays have asked the U.S. International Trade Commission to review an administrative law judge's April noninfringement ruling on most of the targeted products.

O2 and respondents Monolithic Power Systems Inc., Asus Computer International Inc. and Microsemi Corp. all filed public versions of their petitions for review on Wednesday and Thursday, arguing that various findings in Administrative Law Judge James Gildea's initial determination were erroneous.
