Gateway Files ITC Complaint Vs. HP Over Patents

Law360, New York (July 6, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Gateway has filed a complaint with the U.S. International Trade Commission, seeking to ban rival Hewlett-Packard from importing certain computers, monitors and the components used to make them.

The complaint alleges that those products infringe three Gateway patents related to multimedia functions in computer keyboards and displays. Gateway also seeks damages in the complaint.
