Making Sense Of The BPA Debate

Law360, New York (June 23, 2010, 11:05 AM EDT) -- One could be forgiven for feeling confused about the safety of the chemical bisphenol A (BPA). The U.S. Food and Drug Administration states that standard toxicology tests support the safety of BPA at typical human exposure levels. The European Food Safety Authority and the World Health Organization also support the safety of BPA, including in applications causing exposure to fetuses and neonates.
