Insurers' Fraud Defense OK'd In Ponzi Suit

Law360, New York (June 2, 2010, 3:04 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has given the go-ahead for Royal Indemnity Co. and Safeco Insurance Co. of America to assert fraud defenses in a suit brought by a group of banks over bonds tied to an alleged Ponzi scheme operated by the now-defunct Commercial Money Center Inc.
