Greenberg Cut From Traffic Camera False Ad Case

Law360, New York (June 3, 2010, 5:08 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has disqualified Greenberg Traurig LLP from representing road safety camera company Redflex Traffic Systems Inc. in a false advertising suit against rival American Traffic Solutions Inc., citing the firm's previous representation of an American Traffic subsidiary.

Judge Susan Bolton of the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona ruled Wednesday that Greenberg Traurig's representation of the subsidiary, Mulvihill Intelligent Control Systems Inc., from 2003 to 2006 gave it access to information about American Traffic's products that should disqualify it from representing Redflex....
