Salazar Defends Drilling Moratorium

Law360, New York (June 9, 2010, 12:41 PM EDT) -- Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar on Wednesday defended the Obama administration's six-month moratorium on deepwater exploratory oil drilling before the U.S. Senate, on the heels of a Department of the Interior directive requiring increased safety measures for shallow-water drilling activities.
