Dems Plot To Keep Cap-And-Trade Alive

Law360, New York (June 10, 2010, 1:32 PM EDT) -- Democratic leaders in the Senate are considering using an energy bill put forth by Sen. Jeff Bingaman, D-N.M., as the vehicle for starting a floor debate on climate policy, and then introducing a cap-and-trade program as an amendment, in a last-gasp effort to pass something before the midterm elections.
