O'Neill Tapped As US Atty For Middle District Of Fla.

Law360, New York (June 10, 2010, 3:31 PM EDT) -- President Barack Obama has nominated veteran Assistant U.S Attorney Robert E. O'Neill to take on the top U.S. attorney post in the Middle District of Florida.

O'Neill, who has worked as an assistant U.S. attorney in the Middle District of Florida since 1993, served as interim U.S. attorney in the Tampa office from 2007 to 2008. If he is confirmed by the U.S. Senate, O'Neill will serve a four-year term, the White House said Wednesday.
