Glaxo Refutes Claims It Hid Teen Suicide Link

Law360 (January 29, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- GlaxoSmithKline PLC launched a preemptive strike ahead of a BBC documentary set to air on Monday that claims the drug maker manipulated trial results of its antidepressant Seroxat and hid a link with teenage suicide.

The documentary, called “Secrets of the Drug Trials,” is scheduled for broadcast late Monday on BBC One and the BBC Web site as part of the media organization’s “Panorama” series on the controversial drug.
