Pacific Fails To Shift Burden Of Asbestos Suits

Law360, New York (June 14, 2010, 4:34 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has reiterated that Pacific Employers Insurance Co.'s $1 million reinsurance policy with Global Reinsurance Corp. includes expenses as well as losses, potentially leaving Pacific to shoulder the bulk of a policyholder's defense in underlying asbestos litigation.
