Home Products Files New Disclosure Statement

Law360 (January 29, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Responding quickly to the objections of its U.S. Trustee over its disclosure statement, Home Products International Inc. filed an amended version of the statement on Monday, only four days after the trustee first raised concerns about it in bankruptcy court.

U.S. Trustee Kelly Beaudin Stapleton filed an objection on Thursday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware, alleging that Home Products intends to pay certain fees without taking federally mandated steps.
