Genworth Wins Restraining Order In Trade Secrets Case

Law360, New York (June 14, 2010, 2:26 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has granted Genworth Financial Wealth Management Inc. a temporary restraining order in its trade secrets case, blocking five former employees and their new business, TJT Capital Group LLC, from using proprietary information belonging to the company.

Judge Vanessa L. Bryant's ruling, issued Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, orders defendants Timothy McMullan, James Cook, Timothy McFadden, Karen Bazon and Tamara Rivera to cease communications with any Genworth client, among other things, and warns them of sanctions should they...
