McGuireWoods Adds Ex-Prosecutor, White House Atty

Law360, New York (June 15, 2010, 4:41 PM EDT) -- McGuireWoods LLP has welcomed a white collar defense lawyer who formerly served as associate counsel to President George W. Bush and spent time as an assistant U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia into the ranks of the firm's government, regulatory and criminal investigations department.

John Adams, who also previously served as a law clerk for Associate Justice Clarence Thomas of the U.S. Supreme Court, joined McGuireWoods as a partner, and will work out of the firm's Richmond, Va., and Washington offices.
