Ex-USPTO Director Leaves Foley To Head Nonprofit

Law360, New York (June 15, 2010, 6:40 PM EDT) -- Jon Dudas, former head of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, is leaving Foley & Lardner LLP to serve as president of a nonprofit group that works to spark young people's interest in science and technology.

Dudas will take over as president of For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology on July 5, about a year and a half after joining Foley & Lardner as a partner in its intellectual property and public affairs practices.
