Dow Must Pay $4.4M For Malicious IP Suit: 11th Circ.

Law360, New York (June 16, 2010, 5:54 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has upheld a lower court's ruling that The Dow Chemical Co. owes Mee Industries Inc. $4.4 million for maliciously accusing the cooling system maker of infringing two gas turbine patents but that the chemical giant shouldn't have to cough up punitive damages.
