Horizon Investors Appeal Action Over Price-Fixing Plot

Law360, New York (June 16, 2010, 3:20 PM EDT) -- Investors have decided to appeal a federal judge's dismissal of their putative class action against Horizon Lines Inc. over an alleged price-fixing scheme that sent the container shipper's stock plummeting.

Lead plaintiff Police and Fire Retirement System of the City of Detroit filed a notice of appeal in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware on Tuesday, taking the case to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
