Mitsubishi Wins New Trial In $11M Seat Belt Case

Law360, New York (June 16, 2010, 7:35 PM EDT) -- A Florida appeals court has scratched an $11 million jury award and granted Mitsubishi Motors Corp. a new trial over a fatal 2004 crash, finding that the lower court improperly barred evidence countering claims that design defects caused a passenger’s fatal injuries.
