APAC Settles Service Rep FLSA Action For $4M

Law360, New York (June 18, 2010, 11:50 AM EDT) -- APAC Customer Services Inc. has agreed to pay $4 million to put to rest claims that it denied its customer service representatives proper overtime compensation in violation of federal and state labor laws.

Under the terms of the settlement, approved Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin, roughly two-thirds of the $4 million claims fund will go to the class of employees and the remainder to their attorneys.
