Obama Names 3 District Court Judges For DC, Ill.

Law360, New York (June 18, 2010, 6:02 PM EDT) -- President Barack Obama has nominated three people to fill seats on federal benches, including two in the District of Columbia, for which he plucked an attorney from private practice and tapped a judge already serving in the Washington court system.

Obama on Thursday picked James E. Boasberg, an associate judge for the District of Columbia Superior Court, to serve as a judge in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
