Asbestos Firm Must Dissolve After Founder's Death

Law360, New York (June 18, 2010, 6:15 PM EDT) -- Law firm Kelley & Ferraro LLP, which specializes in plaintiffs asbestos litigation, must be "dissolved and wound up" because of the 2006 death of one of its founding partners, an Ohio appeals court ruled.

The Court of Appeals for Ohio's Eighth Appellate District handed down a 35-page opinion Thursday partially reversing a trial court's judgment and remanding a suit the deceased partner's widow brought against the Kelley & Ferraro firm and co-founding partner James Ferraro.
