Russia Lifts Ban On US Chicken Imports

Law360, New York (June 25, 2010, 2:03 PM EDT) -- Russia has agreed to lift a recent ban on poultry products from the U.S. following talks between President Barack Obama and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.

“I am pleased that after several months of negotiations, we have finally reached a breakthrough which will allow for U.S. poultry exports to resume to this important market,” U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk said Thursday.
