Little Tikes Challenges Inflatable Toy Import Tariffs

Law360, New York (June 28, 2010, 1:43 PM EDT) -- Toy maker The Little Tikes Co. and its parent company ABC International Traders Inc. have launched five suits challenging the U.S government's classification of certain inflatable toy imports.

The companies claim in five separate summonses lodged Friday in the U.S. Court of International Trade that U.S. Customs and Border Protection improperly classified more than three dozen inflatable toy shipments that entered the U.S. between December 2005 and August 2008, resulting in higher tariff rates for the toy manufacturers.
