Virginia Natural Gas To Pay $15M For Pipeline Repairs

Law360, New York (June 28, 2010, 6:01 PM EDT) -- Virginia Natural Gas Inc., a natural gas distributor in southeast Virginia, has agreed to pay up to $1.8 million and make $15 million in pipeline replacements to resolve alleged safety violations.

The Virginia State Corporation Commission on Friday reached two settlements with Virginia Natural Gas, resolving 43 alleged violations across the company’s service area from 2007 to 2009.
