DOI Asks 5th Circ. To Keep Drilling Ban In Place

Law360, New York (June 28, 2010, 2:35 PM EDT) -- The U.S. government has asked a federal appeals court to stay a district court injunction barring the U.S. Department of the Interior from enforcing a six-month drilling prohibition in the Gulf of Mexico, set ostensibly to prevent a repeat of the Deepwater Horizon incident.
