Siemens In More Hot Water Over Alleged Bribery

Law360 (February 2, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The corruption whispers following Siemens AG have extended to the United States, with the German engineering and technology giant now facing investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

On Thursday, Siemens admitted in its first quarter financial report that the company had become the subject of various probes in the U.S. stemming from a bribery investigation that is still unfolding in its native Germany.
