Ranchers Settle Case Over Oil Co.'s Saltwater Spills

Law360, New York (June 30, 2010, 3:25 PM EDT) -- Two North Dakota ranchers have agreed to settle a lawsuit seeking to hold oil producer Zenergy Inc. accountable for ruptured saltwater pipelines that spilled about a million gallons of brine and oil contaminants.

Judge Daniel Hovland of the U.S. District Court for the District of North Dakota signed an order Wednesday that dismissed with prejudice all of Linda Monson and Ned Hermanson's claims against Zenergy.
