Law360 (February 2, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal jury has awarded $74.7 million to Asyst Technologies Inc., which accused rival tech company Jenoptik AG of infringing the patent on its Smart Traveler system.
The verdict, which was handed down Wednesday, would have been the fifth largest patent verdict of 2006 had it been issued that year, according to Fenwick & West LLP, which represents Asyst.
