NLRB Orders Employer To Stop Anti-Union Threats

Law360, New York (February 2, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- An administrative law judge has ruled that a railroad construction company engaged in unfair labor practices when supervisors threatened to shutter the company if its employees selected a union as their bargaining representative.

National Labor Relations Board Administrative Law Judge Paul Buxbaum on Tuesday ordered RCC Fabricators Inc. to cease and desist from coercively interrogating its employees over their union sympathies or their participation in protected, concerted activities or that of other employees.
