K&L Gates Reps Hexagon In $2B Deal For Intergraph

Law360, New York (July 7, 2010, 2:33 PM EDT) -- Swedish measurement technology company Hexagon AB has inked a deal to acquire engineering software provider Intergraph Corp. in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $2.125 billion.

Under the agreement announced Wednesday, Intergraph will become a unit of Hexagon, but retain the Intergraph name and branding.

Hexagon said it planned to make Intergraph its core software platform, boosting its ability to provide software solutions to its customers. Hexagon supplies precision measurement systems that provide access to large amounts of measurement data.
