Alcor To Get Jury Trial In Legal Fee Row With Timken

Law360, New York (July 7, 2010, 7:11 PM EDT) -- A magistrate judge has ruled that Alcor Engine Co. will have a jury trial in its fight with Timken Alcor Aerospace Technologies Inc. over legal costs incurred over trade secrets claims in the wake of Timken's 2004 purchase of helicopter replacement part manufacturing assets from Alcor.

In a ruling Friday, Magistrate Judge Greg White of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio said a jury trial is required to determine the reasonableness of the legal fees and costs Timken claims Alcor should pay....
