Regulators Coming Down Hard On Jet Fuel Cartels

Law360 (February 5, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Accusing three petroleum companies of fixing their jet fuel prices, the Greek competition authority has become the latest regulatory agency in recent years to come down hard on colluding companies in the aviation industry.

At a time when fuel prices are consistently high, many airlines are struggling to stay alive and countries are more actively regulating their national competition, several airlines and oil companies have come under scrutiny for their prices.
