Sonnenschein Draws Former Exxon Senior Counsel

Law360, New York (July 8, 2010, 3:05 PM EDT) -- Recently retired Exxon Mobil Corp. senior lawyer Carter B. Simpson has joined Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP as counsel, boosting the firm's ranks in antitrust and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act matters.

Simpson, who retired from Exxon in September, has joined Sonnenschein's Washington office as part of its energy, antitrust and competition, and global services practices, the firm announced Tuesday.

He started working for Mobil Corp. in February 1988, and helped guide its merger with Exxon Corp. in 1999.
